To ensure optimal performance, FlowShare must be installed directly into the Base Image (Golden Image) rather than being deployed as a Published Application.
Why install in the Base Image?
Full Integration: Ensures all drivers and dependencies are correctly registered at the OS level.
App Compatibility: Allows FlowShare to interact with other session apps without "silo" restrictions.
2. Licensing Recommendation
For environments using Citrix or Terminal Servers, we recommend using a License Server rather than individual single-user product key licenses.
Dynamic Allocation: Users can automatically check out a license when starting FlowShare and return it upon closing the application.
Efficiency: This ensures your team has seamless access to licenses without the need for manual assignments or administrative overhead.
3. Deployment & Rollout
FlowShare includes an initialization mechanism to streamline deployment across multiple seats. You can create a standardized settings file that includes the license server address and other pre-defined configurations.
