Publish your FlowShare guides as WordPress posts instantly.
WordPress is a powerful and free content management system. The combination of WordPress with FlowShare allows you to easily set up your own wiki system without investing money in an additional software solution. Simply use FlowShare’s timesaving features to create documentation and conserve your personal know-how or company knowledge with a click of a button.
Requirements: An active FlowShare license and an already working WordPress site.
Making FlowShare and WordPress work together is a two step process.
Extend your WordPress instance with an authentication plugin.
Enter your WordPress address and your user credentials in FlowShare.
Step 1: Extend your WordPress with an authentication plugin
Adding FlowShare as a Client
First you need to install and activate an OAuth Server plugin (e.g. the wp-oauth plugin free version is sufficient).

Select the OAuth Server plugin in your WordPress admin page and select Clients and click Add New Client.
Give your client name. Since the FlowShare app will be the client, “FlowShare” might be a good name.
Enter http://localhost:8080 as Redirect URI.
Select a user from the dropdown list.
Click the “Create Client” button and that’s it.
OAuth Server settings
There are no specific settings to take care of, just make sure the server is enabled.
Go to OAuth Server - Settings page.
Select the "Enable OAuth Server" checkbox.
Click the Save Changes button.
Step 2: Enter your WordPress address and your user credentials in FlowShare
FlowShare needs to know three things in order to be able to export to your WordPress instance:
The URL address of your WordPress page.
The Client ID of the client you created specifically for FlowShare in your OAuth2 Server plugin page (as shown in step 1).
The Client Secret matching your Client ID.
You can find your Client ID and Client Secret in the Client configuration page.
Once you have entered these three things, you can test and check whether everything is correct and working. After the successful test, you can publish your step-by-step documentation as a post on your WordPress page.
After the export is done, your browser will open the newly created WordPress post for you to review and share.
Note! This feature is available only for FlowShare Professional and Enterprise users and is not included in the free version.
