FlowShare's integration with SharePoint allows you to export your flow documents to your SharePoint site. This guide will walk you through the setup process and highlight the key features available.


Setup the SharePoint Integration

To use SharePoint with FlowShare, you need to set up and authenticate it once.

  1. Open the FlowShare application and navigate to the Settings menu and Integrations tab.

  2. Click on the SharePoint icon.

  3. Copy and paste your SharePoint site URL into the input field.
    Example: https:/companyname.sharepoint.com/sites/site-name/

  4. Click on the Test and Save button

  5. You will be prompted to log in via a browser window. Enter your SharePoint credentials to grant the necessary permissions.

  6. Confirm the connection, and once FlowShare establishes access to your SharePoint site, you can close the browser window.

  7. Return to FlowShare and click on the Select for export button.


Select any SharePoint site and folder

Once you have recorded your flow, you can export it to SharePoint:

  1. Navigate to the Export menu within FlowShare.

  2. Select the Integration icon with the SharePoint logo on it and click on the Export button.

  3. Select one site from the available list where you want to store your document.

  4. Choose a specific folder for exporting your file.

    • You can change sites and folders at any time during the export process. For the next export FlowShare will remember the last folder that you used.


Export in PPTX, DOCX, or PDF formats

FlowShare allows you to export your flow in widely-used formats. Select the format from the dropdown list:

  • PPTX: Perfect for presentations.

  • DOCX: For document workflows or step-by-step guides.

  • PDF: Ideal for sharing finalized, non-editable versions.

To export click on the Export button and within seconds your flow is ready and the SharePoint location is opened where the file is saved.


Export with any custom templates

FlowShare supports custom templates to ensure your documents align with your brand guidelines and specific requirements.

  1. Go to the Export section in FlowShare.

  2. Select a template under the PPTX, DOCX, or PDF formats.

  3. Do not click Export but return to the SharePoint format

  4. FlowShare will automatically format your SharePoint flow content based on the last selected PPTX, DOCX, PDF template.

By integrating FlowShare with SharePoint, you can centralize all your flow documents for easy access and collaboration, save time through automated export processes and securely share files within your organization.
