Obsidian is a software tool for note-taking and knowledge management that specializes in linking texts, images and organizing information. It enables the creation and management of notes in Markdown files that can be linked together.
To download Obsidian, visit the obsidian.md website and click on the "Download for Windows" button.
After installation, create your vault under your specified path.
For optimal use of FlowShare and Obsidian, we recommend that you create two new folders in your vault.
One folder for the FlowShare images.
And another one for the markdown files created by FlowShare.
You need to configure the path to your image and the markdown folders in Obsidian. Go to the Export menu, select the Direct integration tab and click on Obsidian tile.
Now click on the folder icon on the right and select your folder paths for the markdown and image folders.
Click on "Test and save" that will validate and save the folder settings.
After successful save you can click Proceed to export your document into Obsidian.
In Obsidian your Flow will be displayed like this.
In Obsidian, you can also display your Flows in a graph view to see how they are interlinked.
Note! This feature is available only for FlowShare Professional and Enterprise users and is not included in the free version.
